La llegada del 2000 trajo consigo cambios significativos tanto en ciencia, pol\u00edtica, moda y sobre todo en la tecnolog\u00eda. El 2004 fue el a\u00f1o en donde se marc\u00f3 una evoluci\u00f3n significativa en el desarrollo de las redes sociales, con la creaci\u00f3n de Facebook. Este abri\u00f3 paso para la formaci\u00f3n de medios sociales como Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc. El exitoso auge de las redes sociales no solo se debe a los avances que se dieron en la creaci\u00f3n de estas mismas, sino en el incremento del uso por parte de los usuarios.<\/p>

Seg\u00fan la revista Forbes M\u00e9xico 4,760 millones de personas las usan. Suponen casi la totalidad (94.9%) de los 5,160 millones de internautas que existen, y casi el 60% (59.4%) de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial. Entonces deber\u00edamos plantearnos la verdadera cuesti\u00f3n que supone este uso masivo. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 las redes sociales han generado tanto impacto en la poblaci\u00f3n mundial? La necesidad del ser humano por comunicarse se remonta desde los or\u00edgenes de este mismo, ya que este es el proceso m\u00e1s complejo de las relaciones humanas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lo que nos permiten todas estas aplicaciones es b\u00e1sicamente comunicarnos no solo con nuestros amigos o conocidos directos, sino a su vez con personas relacionadas con nosotros indirectamente, creando una red de personas a un nivel global. Es decir, estos medios de comunicaci\u00f3n disminuyen las barreras que existen para relacionarse. Adem\u00e1s de que las redes sociales permiten una mayor comunicaci\u00f3n entre individuos, tambi\u00e9n proporcionan otros beneficios como entablar conexiones (incluso con personas de otras partes del mundo), facilitan el acceso al conocimiento e informaci\u00f3n, pueden ayudar a conseguir empleo, comercializar un producto, entre otras opciones.<\/span><\/p>

Las redes sociales tienen muchos beneficios, tambi\u00e9n tienen su lado negativo. Estas plataformas se pueden volver adictivas sino se hace un buen control de su uso, pueden provocar ansiedad y depresi\u00f3n, ya que muchas de estas redes, los usuarios muestran a trav\u00e9s de contenido visual sus vidas, sin embargo, varios de estos contenidos son publicados de lo que la persona quiere aparentar o mostrar, creando as\u00ed una apariencia idealizada y no lo que el individuo realmente es.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Provocando muchas consecuencias psicol\u00f3gicas en la misma persona que las publica o en las dem\u00e1s que la ven si no se tiene una buena salud mental y autoestima.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Incluso estas plataformas se pueden prestar para actos delictivos o ciberbullyng, entre otras cosas. Para concluir, aunque las redes sociales son medios con aspectos tanto positivos como negativos, es importante recalcar el uso y no abuso de estas, cada cosa en exceso es nociva, tener una buena salud mental y autoestima para no depender de estos medios y sobre todo cada quien tiene la responsabilidad de hacer un buen uso de las redes sociales para crear un espacio seguro donde se beneficie la persona.<\/span><\/p>
